Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile and dynamic HR Recruiter & Operations Specialist to join our People team. This unique dual-role position blends deep talent acquisition expertise—especially in sourcing and hiring candidates with technical, operational, and customer-facing skillsets—with day-to-day HR operations support.
You will be the first point of contact for recruiting across a variety of roles including engineering, data, business operations, and customer support, while simultaneously ensuring that HR processes, systems, and employee lifecycle touchpoints are running smoothly and efficiently.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and is passionate about building systems and teams that scale.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (60%)
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across all technical (e.g., engineering, data, IT) and non-technical (e.g., operations, client support) roles.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to create job descriptions, define role profiles, and align on candidate pipelines.
- Manage sourcing strategies to build diverse, qualified talent pools using job boards, networking platforms, referrals, and proactive outreach.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate candidate assessments and interviews.
- Maintain a world-class candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Track metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and pipeline health to optimize recruiting performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast future hiring needs and shape recruitment strategies accordingly.
HR Operations (40%)
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions for all new hires and exits.
- Manage and maintain HRIS systems, employee records, and documentation across the employee lifecycle.
- Serve as a resource for employee inquiries related to benefits, systems access, and policies.
- Support performance review cycles, policy rollouts, compliance training, and team engagement initiatives.
- Partner with finance, legal, and IT to coordinate cross-functional HR activities, such as offer letters, background checks, and access provisioning.
- Assist with the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and scalable HR systems as the company grows.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in a hybrid recruiting/HR operations role or equivalent experience in each domain.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting for a range of roles, including technical talent (e.g., engineers, analysts) and customer-facing or operational positions.
- Strong familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and process documentation tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to build trust with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a scaling environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, systems-oriented mindset.
- Comfort working independently, with a bias for execution in a remote environment.
